Template:MonsterXotec are a strange race of reptilian humanoids with an ancient history, dating back to a time before humanity. They possess the ability to transform into a human for short lengths of time. They cannot hold the transformation for more than a couple hours, though they tend to become better at it with age. When transformed, they fully resemble a human in both speech and appearance.
Abilities[]
They possess intelligence equal to that of a human and live just as long. Xotec are unchallenged in the art of infiltration.
Society[]
Xotec society is controlled by a sub-race of fully serpentine men called the Terrible Masters. Their common goal is to infiltrate human societies and control them from within. Xotec agents are especially common in plutocratic societies such as Romaire and Sunima.
Homelands[]
The homes of the xotec are scattered throughout Subterranea. They live in small communities which rely on order and discipline. They train young males and females to be agents from a young age, and expect them to be on par with human adults by the age of 8. There are only a few professions in xotec society, and not all of them are valued equally. Unhealthy individuals who cannot work are quickly disposed.
The Good, The Bad...[]
While it may seem that way, not all xotec are evil. Some are fully capable of changing their lives with enough human influence. Xotec have sometimes made friends in humans, and have been accepted in certain company. However, it should be fairly obvious that xotec will never be accepted in human societies as a whole.
