Template:MonsterThe Cockatrice is an abomination. It resembles an over-sized chicken crossed with a lizard. Lots of superstitions surround this beast, claiming it can paralyze a man with just a stare. Of course, this isn't exactly true. Nevertheless, these creatures are not to be underestimated. They possess a venomous bite which CAN paralyze a man from head to toe. Unfortunately, anti-venom for cockatrice bite is very difficult to produce, and is only ever available in small quantities.
