Asura is the infernal world of demonic marauders called the Asuras. It is not the Asuras' original home, but the place they found themselves after they were ousted from the Fine-Material World where they had formerly lived.
Very few humans are knowledgeable enough to enter this hostile world. While it is possible for humans to persevere in this plane of existence, their stay will not be a pleasant one.
It is above the Dark-World and below Yama on the Cosmic Pillar. It is a devastated world, presumably more habitable at one time.
City-Realms[]
Asura is home to conglomerate cities called darkworlds, where demons reside. Enormous in size and power, they are noticeable even from long distances. All City-Realms follow a similar political and social structure. Each City-Realm is ruled by a Realm-King, the highest position of power followed by War Leader.
Life in Asura[]
Asura society is perplexing, yet sophisticated. Theirs is a caste-based society, with warriors are the very top, followed by craftsmen and magic users, and finally slaves (builders, farmers and hunters).
Hospitality[]
Strangely, Asura demons have no interest in killing or harming humans. Some City-Realms go as far as allowing human visitors for a limited time. Almost all City-Realms have allowed humans to enter their halls for important business at one time or another.
Geography[]
Asura is a desolate, plundered world where life is sparse and very selective. The lands run with magma, the few scattered forests that remain have taken a bizarre shape. Wild animals are the size of elephants and will tear intruders apart. Asura demons hunt in large packs of warriors and slaves, for it is impossible to face these beasts alone. It is truly an unforgiving land.
